About the Painting
So many flowers and so little time. This piece depicts a bumblebee, barely discernible from its chosen flower, a black eyed susan. Bumblebees are often seen floating from flower to flower, collecting pollen as they go. These pollinators are hard workers and essential to our natural world. When left unbothered, they are at peace with their pollen. The painting is blooming with ochre yellows and pyrrole oranges and reds.
